At CMK Architects, we want the building process to be as smooth as possible for our clients. Therefore, principal involvement is behind the success of each of our designs. Simply stated, one of our three partners remains involved in every aspect of a project from beginning to end. We have structured the firm to allow for this unique involvement and feel this approach results in clearer and more direct communication between the owner, architect, and contractor.

It is our belief that architecture should be sympathetic to its environment, context and site. That's why CMK has been actively practicing “green architecture” for the last twenty years. We design for high performance in all buildings by employing energy efficiency and using techniques from natural day-lighting to geothermal heating and cooling. In addition to having LEED accredited professionals, CMK Architects has experience working with various environmental organizations, including Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), and the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
